Welcome to South Central SALT Conference! Below you will find important information about Staff Development opportunities and XAMK activities.

staff meals//

To prioritize student involvement at Meals with a Missionary, all staff who are not hosting a table are asked to eat their meals in the Chaparral Room on the 38th floor (Center Tower). Thanks for helping make SALT great for our students!

staff development

We love our XA Staff!  While your students are engaged in Workshops, we offer you value-added options to strengthen your leadership skills and communicate important information for you personally and for your ministries.  We hope you will enjoy these staff development activities at this year’s SCSALT!

XAMK ACTIVITIES

We are so excited to have your children with us in our 2024 South Central Salt XAMK program! During our times together we will be studying the Fruit of the Spirit! We are expectant for the Lord to do MIGHTY things in the hearts of each XAMK.

Who are XAMK Activities for?

Our XAMK program is available for registered kids 0-18! We will have 5 classrooms this year!

Infant - 2yrs
3 yrs (potty trained) - Pre K
K - 2nd grade
3rd - 5th grade
6th - 12th grade

When are the XAMK Activities open?

XAMK programs will run during all Main Sessions and Workshops. Please note that there are no XAMK activities during Campus Group Processing times.

Where are the XAMK Activities?

All XAMK rooms, including Kids and Youth programs, are located on the 37th floor in the Majestic Rooms. You will need to take the Center Tower elevator to the 37th floor.

What to expect?

Drop-off begins 15 minutes before the start of each session, but be mindful of the elevator ride up to the 37th floor – you may want to start heading that way a little early to have time to check your children in before your session begins. Please pick up your XAMK(s) within 15 minutes of the end of each session.

Who is running XAMK Activities this year?

We have hired an outside group to provide the XAMK experience for our kids and youth, allowing all of our missionary staff the freedom to minister to students! Paul Austin, our National XA Director of Strategic Partnerships and interim XA District Director of New Mexico, connected us with an interdenominational campus ministry in the DFW area. We have hired Fellowship of Christian University Students’ campus missionary staff to run our program! They have a team of about 40 staff & students who have been praying over our kids and preparing curriculum to help our MK’s LOVE being in ministry!
